Our story
We put down roots in Bilbao more than 25 years ago.
The name Ametzak means oak trees in Basque — the tree that weathers the winters and sprouts again every spring. We chose it for a simple reason: we wanted the salon to be a place people would keep coming back to.
We started out as two hairdressers trained in Bilbao, with one idea: to do things properly, taking our time. Since then the team has grown and so has the list of crafts — colour, beauty, bridal, manicure — but the idea remains intact.
Today we are four professionals who know each other, cover for each other and care for each other. And believe us, you notice it when you sit in the chair.
